Sometimes the unthinkable happens, and your mask gets damaged. Have no fear, CFX is here!

Your mask/gloves, if handled properly, should not tear. However, if a tear occurs it can easily be repaired with CFX’s Self Repair Accessory kit! The Self Repair Accessory Kit includes several things you need to patch up any tears or damage your silicone mask may have suffered regardless of where you bought it. Included in the kit are: Cotton Swabs, Pins, Mesh Strips, Wooden Sticks, Small Measuring Cups, An Instruction Sheet!

To repair a tear, first, clean the area well with rubbing alcohol to remove and oil or dirt, then, lay the mask down or clip the area such that the torn edges are touching their proper places. Apply a small amount of sealant to the torn edges and stick them together, wiping away the excess from the mask surface. Let the tear stay in this position until the sealant is fully cured. If the tear should run you can also stop the tear by using a hole punch to punch a hole at the end of the run, then repair with sealant.

**NOTE: All CFX Pro Silicone masks are cast with embedded elastic fiber reinforcement around stress areas to greatly reduce the risk of rips and running tears. However, like any prop or mask, they are not made to withstand repeated abuse or mishandling.**
